Genzyme cancer drug gets expanded labelling (PharmaBiz)

Genzyme Corporation said the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) extended the approved use of its thyroid cancer drug Thyrogen to be used in combination with radioiodine to destroy the remaining thyroid tissue in patients who have had their cancerous thyroids removed.
